Because of my workout schedule, I train at night and usually end around 9/9:30. Therefore, when I come home, it’s relatively late and I don’t want to consume a typical dinner meal. As a result, I created this smoothie recipe that has everything I need to properly recover from a tough 2-3 hour workout, but won’t leave me feeling too full to sleep. Hope you guys like it!
LAUREN’S POST WORKOUT SMOOTHIE WITH ALLLLLLL THE GOODS:
1.5 cups whole milk (or any kind of milk, for that matter)
1 scoop Ancient Nutrition bone broth protein powder (depends on my mood, but usually chocolate)
1 scoop Reserveage Nutrition Collagen Replenish Powder
1 scoop Amazing Grass Green Superfood powder (if the protein powder is chocolate, I use that flavor; if not I use the original)
1 tablespoon Nature’s Way Coconut Premium Oil (can substitute with coconut or MCT oil)
1 large handful of any greens I have on hand, usually Organic Girl baby kale or super spinach
A few ice cubes
Add all ingredients to your blender and blend till smooth!
